Meet Mike Gerson

Mike Gerson has proudly called Morro Bay home for more than 20 years. He and his wife have built their family, business, and community life here. As a local business owner, Realtor, and longtime community volunteer, Mike understands the importance of responsible leadership, practical decision-making, and protecting the quality of life residents value.

For more than 16 years, Mike has owned and operated a local business. His experience managing budgets, employees, operations, compliance, and long-term planning gives him a practical, real-world understanding of what it takes to make responsible decisions and follow through.

Mike is deeply involved in the community. He is a Rotary Club Member and was honored as Rotarian of the Year for 2023–2024. He currently serves on the Morro Bay Maritime Museum Board and the Lighted Boat Parade Committee. He is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 134, a former Cubmaster of Pack 214 in Los Osos, and a founding board member of the San Luis Obispo Shooting Range.

Mike is running for City Council to help preserve Morro Bay's unique character, protect local quality of life, support fiscal responsibility, improve public safety, and ensure the city plans responsibly for the future.
